Lake Michigan Pebble #2
I collected this pebble on a bleak, windy stroll along the shores of Lake Michigan, at the Northern city limits of Chicago in 2018. I have been collecting pebbles since I was a girl, as a way of connecting me to a certain time and place. This one attracted me for it's unusual colour, smooth even surface, and those interesting little piercings.
This is a ring for those of you who love wearing statement jewellery that is unique and tells a story. It has some heft, that makes you aware of her presence on your finger. You can also wear the pebble inverted, in the palm of your hand, serving as a comforting talisman.
