Mabe Pearl Pendant and Chunky Chain
Mabe pearls are cultivated attached to the shell of the oyster. They are also called blister pearls. They take time to cultivate and include a section of the shell, the shell has been polished and exposed at the back. The pearl measures 30mm at the widest point and is surrounded with silver. It attaches to any section of the chain with an enhancer. The chain measures 53cm, with textured and polished silver links. It is a weighty piece that can be worn constantly, loved and passed on.
This piece is designed to be worn in different ways. It can be worn without the pearl, and the hook clasp around to the collar bone as a feature. The pearl can be attached to either the long or round links for a y shape, or round shape fall on the body. the chain can be worn shorter with the excess down your back, or at a choker length with the pearl attached to the tail of the chain.
